Goldberry – To the River Daughter

by Mar 31, 2004Poetry

O, sweet Goldberry!
With hair the color of your name,
And water lillys at your feet.
Sweet of voice,
And light of step.
You dwell with your husband,
Tom the Eldest.
O, River Daughter!
With skin the color of snow,
From the mountains where rivers are born.
Your laughter sounds,
Like falling water.
May you sing forever,
In bliss and peace.
