Gentle Elven Hands

by Jan 23, 2004Poetry

Now just a memory, a thought today,
On these shores the Elves once stayed.
With immortal days lying miles away,
they used their gifts to guide the way.
Gentle Elven hands so fair.
Embracing the lands with love and care.

All beautiful and priceless,
and touched with a blessing.
The First Born Children so long ago,
with gifts of the Valar stored in their souls.

Adding a grace,
a wondrous glow.
For all things about them
did prosper and grow.
Gentle Elven hands so fair.
Embracing the lands with love and care.

Wondrous folk,
with eternity deep in their eyes.
For within their hearts,
Middle-earth there lies.

Precious days were not numbered,
filled with magic, glory and wonder.
Protecting all lands far and near,
until the end of their stay was here.
Gentle Elven hands so fair.
Embracing the lands with love and care.
