Galadriel the Fair – Galadriel the Fair

by Mar 13, 2003Poetry

many feared her more than death itself.
but for those who had seen her, she was kinder and fairer than man of elf.
hardly any words are fit to describe her.
her hair was gold with a circlet of silver.
her limbs were white, as was her face.
but she moved with undenying grace.
her voice was so diffrent, not quiet and meek.
it was deep and wise, when she would speak.
many spake of her as ‘the sorceress of the Golden Wood’.
but her defenders withheld her honor as best they could.
