Frodo’s Wish – By MyLegolas

by May 1, 2002Poetry

Frodo Baggins a simple hobbit with a simple wish.
I want to be free,
Let me go
Of this fate which binds me,

This burden is too big for thee,
I am but one small person
How can this be
A job for me,

I want to be free,
Let me go
Of this fate which binds me,

All that I see,
of Middle Earth
All depends on me
Me and Sam we be,

I want to be free,
Let me go
Of this fate which binds me,

I’m tired of this quest,
How can I change the fate of all
I really need to rest
I want this burden off my chest,

I want to be free,
Let me go
Of this fate which binds me,

Now I’m almost done,
The adventures almost through
I want to be the one
Who in the end has won,

I’m free,
You’ve let me go
Of this fate which once bound me.
