Forced Decision – A poem about Aragorn

by Jan 3, 2005Poetry

Forced to be an outcast,
Forced to be alone.
Forced to wander the wild lands,
Forced by the choice of your own.

Choice was made through pain of love,
Though the choice was already your fate.
Time of redemption, and your worth to prove,
Is a time for which you shall wait.

Misunderstood by many,
Yet, revered by some.
And some have fallen for thee,
But your heart belongs only to one.

Love for the evenstar,
Brightest of all.
But for her to return your feelings,
Her brightness will fall.

Forced to be an outcast,
Forced to be alone.
Forced to wander the wild lands,
Forced by the choice of your own.
