Fate? – A poem.

by Mar 20, 2002Poetry

The fate of which
unknown to all.
To which the fate among them fall?
A creature that is half the worth
some say,
finds through tangle, toil, and turmoil,
the way.
To each it sizes, but each sizes not.
To the one who would carry
IT has not sought.
Suited not to hand,
but to heart
The halfling brings forth
what all powerful will part.
