Falling

Like a leaf that’s ever falling
Into darkness on the ground
Like the frost that the leaf falls on
That gets picked up and then found
Like the stars that shine up above
And in darkness can be seen
Like the moon that is encircled
By an ever singing dream

Like a leaf that’s ever falling
Into darkness on the ground
Like the frost that the leaf falls on
That gets picked up and then found
Like a wolf that howls to the moon
And he waits there till his call
Like his pack that then soon follows
He sits quietly with all

Like a leaf that’s ever falling
Into darkness on the ground
Like the frost that the leaf falls on
That gets picked up and then found
Like the sun that shines so brightly
From a million miles away
Like the heat that touches the sand
As the sea washes the bay

Like a leaf that’s ever falling
Into darkness on the ground
Like the frost that the leaf falls on
That gets picked up and then found
Like the fruit we take for granted
This is taken from the trees
From the hives we get our honey
Like the ever stinging bees

Like a leaf that’s ever falling
Into darkness on the ground
Like the frost that the leaf falls on
That gets picked up and then found
Like the silk web which is woven
By the spider everyday
Like the butterfly who flutters
With his colour whirling ray

Like a leaf that’s ever falling
Into darkness on the ground
Like the frost that the leaf falls on
That gets picked up and then found
Like the birds that fly all over
Seeking food for their new born
Like the fish that dance in the sea
Who are listening for the horn

Like a leaf that’s ever falling
Into darkness on the ground
Like the frost that the leaf falls on
That gets picked up and then found
Like the oceans hidden treasure
That is waiting to be found
Like the rivers from the mountains
When moving make a sound

Like a leaf that’s ever falling
Into darkness on the ground
Like the frost that the leaf falls on
That gets picked up and then found
Like the setting sun in the sky
That gets covered by the haze
Like the moon that brings the night
And the parting of the ways

Like a leaf that’s ever falling
Into darkness on the ground
Like the frost that the leaf falls on
That gets picked up and then found
