Eowyn’s Lament

by Oct 11, 2003Poetry

Darkness engulfs me
In dark paths I stray
The cold embraces me
In a lifeless body I lay

Soothing hands my head are holding
His voice a light in the growing dark
And as we face a bloody morning
Lo! Behold I am back!
