Come Back
by traz~~~

Oh Merry,
Here you lay
With unknown wounds.
Your pale skin
Is dry and cold.
This battle you so bravely fought,
Nearly claimed your life.
Now here you lie
Upon Death’s door.
Come back to me,
Come back.

Oh Merry,
Watching you
Barely breathing.
My heart aches
To find you so.
I finally meet you once again,
Grateful you’re alive,
But here you lie
Upon Death’s door.
Come back to me,
Come back.

Oh Merry,
Can’t you hear?
The King has come
With healing hands
To bring you home.
And I’ll be waiting by your side
So we can share our tales.
Please stay away
From Death’s dread door!
Come back to me,
Come back.
