Celeborn – A Poem

by May 21, 2002Poetry

I sit beside a trickling stream,
Thinking of days gone by.
When all my kindred still stood here,
Though beneath a darkened sky.
Lorien lies now deserted, except for I alone.
Yet I hold no joy in being here,
My heart longs for Elvenhome.
As the water trickles onward over sand and over stone,
It reminds me of Galadriel before she left me all alone.
My minds made up.
I will not stay on this side of the Sea.
Yet the last memories of Elves in Middle Earth will leave this world with me.
