Lay down, sweet hope,
Yet do not fade
Until the stars as such array’d
Thy open lust to challenge fear
Into those places dark and drear.

Undo thy pity, senless, pure,
And take thy truth into be bound
The whispers spok’n all around,
Into the place that thee did know,
Alowg the path to mournful lowe.

Until this heart with me
Shall speak of day and night,
I shall seek that wisdom
That should bid me fight,
And lead me to whatever end,
Above; below the sky,
And hope shall live with me;
No fear shall bid me die.
