Arwen’s Pain – a poem

by Mar 5, 2003Poetry

My Estel has gone.
Soon I must join him in the halls of the dead.
My mind wanders ever to my family.
Do they miss me as I miss them?
Do they even remember who I am?
My pain is deep.
Only Estel could ever take it away from me.
But he is no more.
Where art thou happiness?
Where is the love I once had?
My Estel has gone.
And with him has gone my will to live.
Now I shall join him in the halls of the dead.
Namarie fair Middle Earth,
Namarie.
