Aragorn and Arwen – A lovers truth

by Apr 17, 2003Poetry

I hope that this reads ok, but I wanted to try something a little different

Aragorn

“This sword would be nothing
But for it’s tale.
This stone would be useless
For her love.
This fate would be blissful
But for her death.
And my heart would weep
But for her name.”

Arwen

“This star would be nothing
But for it’s moon.
This gem would be worthless
But for my word.
This life would be unlived
But for his hope
And my heart would weep
But for his name.”
