An Elf Song

by Mar 7, 2004Poetry

Elvish oh wonderful folk,
dwelling in trees of ancient oak
singing merry songs
late into the night
Oh wonderful Elvish folk,
your spirits lift mine.

I think of your beauty,
I think of your past,
how many hardships
you’ve had to outlast.

I admire your courage,
and beauty bestowed
in the heart of an elf
where life ever grows.

You bring so much wisdom,
you bring so much hope,
toghther you stand,
divided you fall,
as the Valar call home
the Firstborn children
remember your loved,
and my heart travels with you.
