Ainulindale – Sing, Children of Iluvatar!

by Sep 22, 2003Poetry

Let us go walking;
Let us stroll among the trees,
Ane listen to the ballads
The breeze plays upon their boughs.

Let us go walking;
Let us run across the hills,
And learn the tales of old
From the grasses whisper in our wake.

Let us go walking;
Let us wander down the beach,
And dance to the drumming
Of the waves upon the sands.

Let us go walking;
Let us journey over Arda,
And join the music of the Ainur–
The mighty theme of Eru!
