A Song of Hope – A silly Poem

by Dec 5, 2003Poetry

Morning light is shining through,
To it my heart is bound,
Telling me what I must do,
My courage now is found.

My hope now is renewed,
My faith does firmly stand,
To it my heart is bound,
We walk now hand in hand.

The battle’s not yet lost,
We still can go and fight,
It may still end up thus;
We triumph in our might.

The battle now we’ve won,
We went out and we fought,
And all because of one,
Our courage back he brought.

All hail our mighty lord,
Who told us we were strong,
He said, ‘Pick up your swords,
To battle, hard and long.’
