A Shadow over Middle-earth – Saurons dream

by May 28, 2002Poetry

A Shadow covers all the lands where men and elf do dwell,
A darkness caused by Sauron’s hands to shade the world now fell,
His riders strike and kill all light that kindles in his rule,
He takes their kings and bravest knights and makes them all his fools,
The depression of once happy elves nearly gives him joy,
Then he remembers the Hero halfing that almost destroyed his toy,
Now he is master of the land he worries of it not,
The ring is on his finger now and that hobbit’s corpse does rot,
The Men and Elves won’t rise again as they did before,
The Men and Elves are slaves of his and get fed to loyal orcs.
