a poem for legolas

by Sep 5, 2004Poetry

If I could put together a rhyme
It would be about a face
That’s brighter than the sunshine
A face so gentle, so kind
A face that is not mine
Not now nor in due time
But what is a face
Compared to a soul?
My soul clings to him
Not to the pretty face so shallow
So hear me now
I’ll see you never
In this glorious insanity
Coz you legolas, though not real, are in all my mortality..
