So you offer me the ring young hobbit when I asked you to get me a shrubbery. …
The big controversy regarding the film of Fellowship of the Ring dealt with changes to Arwen’s character. We argued for a year about that.
But it seems the big surprise of the Two Towers was the change to Faramir’s character! Fans have dubbed him “Filmamir” or “Farfromthebookamir.”
Whatever they call him, here he is! And he looks like he’s angry about something. Or is he just musing on the surprises life deals us all?
Think of a caption for this image of Faramir and put it in the comments section of THIS page. Click on the thumbnail to see a larger image (and a better expression), but do not post the caption on the page with the larger image! Come back to THIS page before posting.
Remember, TolkienOnline is a “family friendly” site, so keep all captions clean.
As always, the only prize is the satisfaction of a job well done. Last week’s well done job (as well as all previous caption contests) can be seen by clicking the “caption contest” link at the top of this page.
This week’s winner is Original.wombat with, “So you offer me the ring young hobbit when I asked you to get me a shrubbery. And I am no longer the knight who says “ni”, I am now the night who says “hekkyhekkywatoonghubadabashtakethem to my father”
