The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers has been named best flick at the Empire Film Awards.
It’s the second year in a row LOTR has picked up the prize.

The awards are in their eighth year and are voted for entirely by the public. They grew out of the popularity of the Empire Magazine.

Other prize winners on the night included Kirsten Dunst who picked up the best actress award for her part as Spidey’s lady in Spider-Man.

And sci-fi thriller Minority Report won three awards, including best director for Steven Spielberg and best actor for Tom Cruise.

James Bond’s Die Another Day didn’t miss out either, because Rosamund Pike was voted best newcomer.

And Stars Wars hasn’t been forgotten! The scene of the year was the Yoda duel from Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones.
