“New Line hired an extra to fake this scene only for the fans and spies watching from the street with their photo-cameras all day,” Cirdan reports.
I contacted Christopher “Saruman” Lee because of the strange “Wizard-Wheel-Picture” from the Evening Post and got an answer from his US-agent Daniel Sladek:
“Mr. Lee cannot comment about the production.”
In addition I got an anonymous e-mail that said, that the Pictures is only a fake from New Line Cinema. The writer appeal to a friend working at the production in Wellington. Also the mail said that nearly all scenes with Ghan-buri-Ghan are finished.
Today, Cirdan had a follow-up report on the “Wizard-Wheel” as well as other tidbits:
I got some more informations about the production and the “wizard-wheel-picture” from my source Mr. Brown. New Line hired an extra to fake this scene only for the fans and spies watching from the street with their photo-cameras all day. They only wanted to satisfy curiosity of the onlookers.
Additionally I got the information,
– that all crew members watch the outcoming shots of the week every friday.
– that they have long discussed how to pronounce the name of Sauron.
– that we will see how Saruman created the Uruk-hai .. something with “born of stone” .. not mentioned in the books. Peter Jackson invented this.
