The Wellington producer-director Peter Jackson is the new owner of The Film Unit, which is the only one-stop post-production facility in New Zealand.

The purchase of the post-production facility will greatly enhance Peter Jackson’s ability to produce this movie cheaply and on schedule. This move sounds a lot like some of the moves this guy George made here in the States. Maybe Peter is taking a play out of the Lucas playbook.
