Rings stuntman pleads guilty to selling Footage

A Wellington stuntman has pleaded guilty to charges related to selling advanced footage of the Lord of the Rings film trilogy.

In the Auckland District Court this morning, the 35-year-old, whose name remains suppressed, admitted one charge of receiving three video tapes and another charge of dealing in a reproduced document.

Police had been investigating the matter for over a month, after Lord of the Rings footage was offered for sale on the Internet.

Three other charges were withdrawn and the man will be sentenced next month. – Radio New Zealand
