Joram at Ringbearer.org is reporting that a New Zealander by the name of Brian Sergent will be cast as Ted Sandyman. Not official by any means, but since Sergent has been in other Peter Jackson films (Dead Alive and
Meet the Feebles) it seems a good gamble that he is indeed cast.
