I just got an e-mail from a friend of ours in New Zealand, and here is a short snip from what he had to say.



“[There is] nothing in the local newspapers about Lord of the Rings. You guys may be getting information from overseas, but according to the local newspapers here in New Zealand, it is total blackout.”



Well, it looks like the official blackout has begun, I guess this means that filming is about to begin and that the only news we will be receiving from New Zealand comes from our friendly guys on the inside.
