The Press On-Line in New Zealand has posted an article on yesterday’s extras casting in Christchurch. Here’s a clip:
“Hobbit fever has hit Christchurch, with hundreds of hopefuls queuing up for minor roles in Peter Jackson’s feature film, Lord of the Rings. When the casting call started at 1pm yesterday, more than 300 people had lined up through the Christchurch Boys’ High School grounds, where the auditions were held. By 1.30pm the queue had extended further back…”
