John Rhys-Davies as GimliWell, this seems pretty far-fetched to me considering how deeply JRD hated all the makeup that Gimli required (his skin was allergic to the glue, if memory serves)…

It’s been reported that a fan spoke with Rhys-Davies and had the following exchange:

“At first he denied it, but after a little pressing he smiled really big, laughed, winked, and said that maybe it was possible. His smile… his laugh… I’m taking this as a pretty big indicator that he will be involved in some small way. Can’t wait to see it!”

Me?  I don’t believe he’ll show up as a dwarf… maybe he’ll just get a cameo somewhere else…
