The Chalk Farm Gallery in London is holding a Ted Nasmith and David Goode exhibit starting November 25. The exhibit will last until mid January 2000. This July Ted Nasmith had an exhibit at this location. It was hugely successful and it sold out.
Ted Nasmith is known for his work illustrating the Tolkien Calendars. He created his first works at the age of 15. Some of these works were show to Tolkien himself who gave him a favorable response. Encouraged by this praise he continued to work on middle earth pictures. His works can be found in the 1987, 1988, 1990, 1992, and 1996 He is also featured in next year’s Tolkien calendar interpreting scenes from the Silmarillion.
