I just spent some time entering in new images I’ve received from the (failed) Ralph Bakshi animated Lord of the Rings feature into our Art Gallery. Actually, twelve of the images are from a 1981 Silver Anniversary Lord of the Rings Calendar, saying that they are “masterfully rendered illustrations from Ralph Bakshi’s Fantasy Films production of The Lord of the Rings…”–and indeed they look much better than the cels from the film.
