I just received an email from David Farquhar, adviser to game designer Reiner Knizia, regarding the release dates for the Lord of the Rings board game. Here’s the lowdown on when you can get your copy–hopefully we’ll be getting more precise release dates in the near future:

Germany – Second half of October, initially at the Frankfurt Book Fair, followed by the International Game Fair at Essen – Publisher Kosmos.

Holland – October – Publisher 999 Games.

UK – October – Publisher Hasbro / Parker.

Australia / New Zealand – Shipment on its way – Publisher Hasbro / Parker.

US edition to follow soon.
