“While we were taking a look at the general features of the game, we also had a chance to see some of the levels we’ll be playing on. The ruined city of Osgiliath provides a maze of collapsed temples and stone ruins that offer numerous platforms for sniping. The evil-side mission of Cirith Ungol in Mordor tasks the player with retaking the towers built by Gondor and involves a nice alliance with Shelob. Edoras is represented in two missions, with the player first taking the city as an enemy and then, in the good campaign, trying to recapture the Golden Hall and remove the corruption from the burial grounds. The player will also visit the gloomy forest of Mirkwood and the fortress of Helm’s Deep.”
