Tolkien's Original Map of MirkwoodTolkien’s Original Map of MirkwoodQuick note here about an upcoming exhibit at the Field Museum in Chicago featuring “drawings by author J.R.R. Tolkien of his fictional Middle-earth”.

The exhibit focuses on famous maps in the history of the world, from a 3500 year old clay tablet, to Tolkien’s maps. If I lived in Chicago, I’d go!
