This info just in from the good folks at Heren Istarion, the New York Tolkien Society, with an update on all their latest happenings:

1) The New York Tolkien Society welcomes Tolkien-Illustrator Ted Nasmith (https://www.tednasmith.com) who on Saturday March 19th 2005 will be presenting “Eye Contact: Illustrating the Silmarillion, and other Tolkien Subjects” at Ringbearers Day 2005. Mr. Nasmith will also be taking part on our panel discussion Honoring Tolkien: 50 Years of The Lord of the Rings

2) Professor Michael Drout who will also be taking part on our panel discussion Honoring Tolkien: 50 Years of The Lord of the Rings, has announced his lecture topic “The Returns of Kings, from King Alfred to Aragorn,”

3) In coming days we will be announcing the participation of Games Workshop. Games Workshop has always had an exciting presence at our events, this year they will be stepping things up a notch, with displays, demonstrations, painting workshops and more! Stay Tuned for all the details

4) With your purchase of your Ringbearers Ticket, not only will there be a great program booklet, Heren Istarion T-shirt, Return of the King Posters, and lots of goodies, but a fabulous lunch spread for all attendees.
