“Into the West” Oscar Party For LOTR Fans! – February 29th

“Into the West”
A Hollywood Oscars Party for Lord of the Rings andTolkien fans.
Sunday, February 29th, 2004
Doors open at 4:00 pm

Thanks to the grassroots efforts of LOTR fans from many different sites, including The Official Fan Club, Ringbearer.Org, LOTR Fanatics, War of the Ring, Council of Elrond, LOTR Fanclub Scrapbook, and Tolkien Forever, “Into the West” volunteers are proud and excited to announce an Oscar party!

To be held on Sunday Feb 29th 2004 in Hollywood California at the beautiful Hollywood Athletic Club, conveniently located just blocks from the Oscar site on Sunset Blvd.

Price includes buffet and free drinks. Cash bar will be available. Formal attire or high quality costumes encouraged.


“Hall of Fire”
An Oscar party warm-up event for Lord of the Rings and Tolkien fans!
Saturday February 28th, 2004. Doors open at 7:00pm

Hall of Fire will be held on Saturday, February 28th (the night before the Oscar party extravaganza!) from 7-11pm in Hollywood California at the lovely and historic Hollywood Athletic Club!

It will be a casual gathering for fans to share poetry, tales, songs, and a costume contest. Semi-formal dress and quality costumes are encouraged. Light “fingerfoods” provided.


All proceeds of this event will be donated to Reading Is Fundamental. (RIF)
