High-resolution images of a massive LEGO Minas Tirith set have leaked online and if the reports are accurate, this is the largest Lord of the Rings Lego set yet!
The upcoming set features over 6,000 pieces—making it one of LEGO’s most ambitious Lord of the Rings builds to date. No official price or release date has been confirmed, but the leak suggests a price of about $650!

Minas Tirith—originally called Minas Anor, the “Tower of the Sun”—is built into the Hill of Guard in Gondor. Tolkien describes it in The Return of the King as a city of seven levels, each ringed by white stone walls rising one above the next, with the Citadel and White Tower of Ecthelion crowning the summit. The city faces east toward Mordor, its Great Gate a bulwark against the shadow. The Citadel juts from the highest tier “like the prow of a ship.”

This is significant because LEGO’s previous Lord of the Rings sets—the 2012-2013 line and the 2023 Rivendell set (6,167 pieces)—never tackled Minas Tirith at this scale. The leaked images appear to show multiple tiers and the iconic white stonework, though it remains to be seen whether all seven levels made the cut.
We’ve been waiting for an official LEGO Minas Tirith since the original LOTR theme launched. If these leaks prove accurate, it looks like the wait may finally be over.
LEGO has not yet officially announced the set. We’ll update as more details emerge.
