After years of buildup and 2 teaser trailers, we finally have a full trailer for The Rings of Power:
There’s a lot to chew on here visually–I especially love the orcs (after The Hobbit films, we should write off all digitally created orcs, right?!)
The plot seems to be Sauron’s back! And nobody fully believes Galadriel or Miriel! Oh no! 🙂
You probably already know we’re getting 2 centuries compressed into a few years with Amazon’s attempt at Middle-earth, and that still concerns me and many Tolkien fans, simply because they’ll be missing out on so many great stories that could be told deliberately and with a slow and powerful build up. I hope the show is enjoyable, but less of me thinks it’s Tolkien’s story with the more details I see.
