One Saturday morning, Frodo and Sam arrived in Riverndale to visit the Lady Arwen.

They thought they were bringing her a gift of mushrooms, but, unknown to them, Pippin had found them and eaten them all.

Thus they prepared an assortment of cheese and nuts and set off on their journey, but little did they know what dangers awaited them.

When it began to rain, they were very annoyed to find they had left their umbrellas behind.

So they decided that it was best if one of them headed back to fetch those umbrellas while the other takes cover under some trees.

Only no one volunteered to walk back through the rain, so they decided to draw straws to see who would go.

Much to his dissapointment, Sam had drawn the shortest one and had to bare the howling wind and torrents of rain as he stumbled blindly back to the house.

But the rain was so heavy he couldn’t see, and soon wandered far off the path.
