Art forum

Is there a place where we can post Tolkien related art? I seem to remember there was a dedicated art forum on the old boards, but maybe it wasn’t very active any longer.

I love to draw and it would be nice to post my stuff – albeit not award worthy – amongst Tolkien fans. And it’s always pleasant to discover other people’s art too, or pieces by others they adore and want to share.

We did have one at http://forums.theonering.com/viewforum.php?f=11

It wasn’t very active (8 active threads over 2 years), so I’m hesitant to add it again.

Maybe we can create a new forum and call it “Inspired by Tolkien” and make it for anything that shows how folks have been inspired by Tolkiens work to create their own things…

Oh gosh, yeah, that’s not an activity level worthy of resurrection. :-/

Anyway, if it’s just me who’s asking, I could just open a thread for it in Talk too. Or create the alliance of Aulë’s crafty crafters or something. 🙂
