lamentation.. – a cry for middle earth

by May 16, 2003Poetry

shadows of unending fear,
cast in fold my hardened heart,
cold as ice thy breath as tear,
broken in scattered parts…

lend my soul forever warm,
for black as night can see,
no light shall shine on thee with harm,
no love and hope to me…

but yet still i long for thy sight,
golden and shining lace,
treasures of old but bright,
forever lovely face…

dark is what i see of now,
a pale unending hue,
and cold are the stars of how,
questions that seems untrue….
