My_Trip_To_Middle_Earth - chapter 6

The day of the council dawned bright and early. The birds outside were singing their morning song greeting the new day. I was trying to get ready to go while eating a piece lambas bread, which didn't wrok to well.

* gosh dang it, I'm going to be late, * I thought to myself as I put on my makeup. I put on a little bit of light brown blush and a bit of strawberry lipgloss that was in my pocket when I came. I then put up my hair in a loose bun with strands of hair hanging out. The bun was held up by two chopsticks.

I then got into my dress that I laid out for myself. It was a baby blue color that ended at my ankles. It had two slits on the sides that went up to my knee. This dress covered my back but not my stomach. So it showed my firm stomach that I had worked so hard on exercising. The top of my dress was that of a chinese dress. The collar and the buttons were there.

I had just gotten finished when there was a knock at my door. It of course was Master Elrond.

"Ready to go," he asked.

"Yes," replied and followed him to the balcony in which many chairs were set up.

Not many people were there yet but there were a few elves and humans there. I noticed Aragorn and Flitwick but the others were slightly strange to me. I did notice, however, that the Mirkwood elves were there and watching Master Elrond and me. That made me slightly nervous. There were four sets of elven eyes on me.

" Sit here," Elrond instructed and pointed to a chair next to him on the left.

I was in the middle, between another one of Elronds helpers and Elrond himself. As more people began to show up I looked around the council. There was the hobbit Frodo and the wizard Gandalf. Next to Gandalf was the elves of Mirkwood, which included the certain elf Legolas. Next to the Mirkwood elves were the dawarves. I saw the dawarf Gloin and his son Gimli. Next came the humans. There was Aragorn of course but the other one made me watch him more carefully. I knew his name was Borimier but I still watched him carefully. I knew something was going to happen with him and I didn't like one bit of it.

Soon Elrond was ready to begin the council.

"Strangers from distant lands, friends of old, you have been summoned here to answer the treat of Mordor. Middle Earth stands upon the brink of distruction. None can escape it, you will unite or you will fall. Each race is bound to this fate this one doom. Bring forth the ring, Frodo," Elrond said.

Frodo brought up the ring and set it down on the stone pillar in the center of the room. I saw him sigh in relief as he sat down again. I knew that he was carrying a great burden bring the one ring here. I was really proud of him.

Suddenly Borimir stood up. He started to talk about a dream and walked towards the ring. Before he could even touch the ring Gandalf stood up and said the black speech of Mordor. The cluds darkend and you could here the faint voice of the dark lord himself saying the words himself. All the elves closed their eyes in agony, the dawarves grabbed their axes and the humans loooked around in fear. Through all of this Borimier sat down shaken. I closed my eyes waiting for it to be over.

Gandalf finished and Elrond spoke," no one has ever dared to speak that tongue in Imiladeris."

" I do not asked your pardon, Master Elrond, for the black speech may still be heard in the corners of the world," Gandalf replied and sat down.

" I know we have the ring to discuss but there is another matter that also needs to be answered to," Elrond spoke looking at me.

This was the part that I was going to dread. I looked at him with a bit of embarassing and fear in my eyes. By his eyes he was saying that there was nothing to be afraid of and that everything would be fine.

" I know it is strange to you that there is a woman in my council but she is no ordinary person. She came from a different world, not like our own. She came here afraid and suddenly but all of your questions and her's will be answered today," Elrond spoke.

" Some elves know this profesy and others don't. Listen carefully for it will answer all of the questions in your mind. I looked at him and listened intently. Everybody had the same question, except me, who was this girl?

The profesy started a tale of war and hate between the elements water, earth, wind, and fire. The elements were sworn enemies but their daughters were all friends. Nobody knew of the relationship between them and they kept it a secret.

Wind was the youngest. She had a carefree spirit and loved to create wind storms below. That usually got her in trouble with earth. She was the oldest and the wised of the four. She loved the trees and plants that she was in control of. Water was the second youngest. She was the one who loved to get into trouble. She loved the ocean and the animals in it. The second oldest was fire. She was the most quiet. She would mostly stay in a corner and watch the others.

One day the parents of the elements followed there daughters when they went out to meet eachother that day. When they found out that there daughters were friends, all heck broke loose. There was fire balls, water balls, vines, and wind storms being fired at the other elements. Some of the water balls went astray and hit fire with great force. The daughter of the fire god was hit more with water balls until she almost blacked out. She was in so much agony that everybody stopped fighting. Her father ran to her and picked up her beaten body. He knew she was going to die. Her last words before she passed on was, " I will return to help you again." She died right in her fathers arms.

Her father was so greived that he built a huge tomb in her honour. He placed her body in a golden casket and laid her inside the tomb. He sealed it knowing that she would never come back. One night he had a dream about his daughter. she told him that she will be rencarnated into a human. She would be in another world until she turned 16 in human years. The human form of her would become distant and not feel like she belonged with her family. Then while her new form wuld be sleeping her former self would bring her back to be with her real family and change into her former self.

Elrond ended this and all of my questions were answered. All of the pieces came together. The lonlieness, the feeling like I didn't belong, and the fact that I loved to read about the elements. It hit me so suddenly that I had to cover my mouth with my hand to keep me from screaming. I was the rencarnation of the fire mistress.

I looked up to see Elrond looking at me. He nodded his head and continued," She, my friends, is the rencarnation of the fire mistress Ruby. Megan that is your real name." I just stared at him with shock in my eyes.

" That is who you are, Ruby," Elrond said," you are a mistress of fire, you belong here."

I couldn't say anything as the words sunk in. Everybody was staring at my with awe including the dawarves.

Finally I spoke," all my life I have felt distant, I felt lonely, now all of my questions are answered. If any of you speak to me my name is Ruby, not Megan."

Everybody nodded their understanding and Elrond said," it is now time to discuss the ring." Everybody got into a fight about the ring. Finally Frodo stood up and said," I will take it."

Everybody looked at him. " Although, I do not know the way."

" I will help you bear this burden, Frodo Baggins, as long as it is yours to bear," Gandalf put in.

" By my life or death, I can protect you, I will." Aragorn said," you have sword."

" And you have my bow," the elf Legolas put in.

" And my axe," Gimli said and stood next to Legolas.

" You carry the fate of us all little one, if this indeed the word of the council, then Gondor will see it done," Borimier replied and joined the group.

I stood up and said," If it is my destiny to help Middle Earth and become the fire mistress, I will go."

Suddenly Sam came out of the hedges and said," Frodo is not going anywhere without me."

" I am hardly able to seperate you tow when he is summoned to a secret council and you are not," Elrond said smirking.

" Oi, we're coming too," yelled Merry as he and Pippin ran out of their hiding place.

" You'll have to tie us all in a sack to stop us," Merry added.

" anyway, you need people of intelligence on this sort of message, quest, thing," Pippin said and held his head high.

" 10 companions, so be it, you shall be the fellowship of the ring," Elrond concluded.

" Great, when are we going," Pippin asked stupidly.
