From Helms Deep to Eternity - The New Member of the Fellowship!
Once in the elven woods of Lothloria there lived the most beautiful elf in all of middle earth. She loved one elf and many elves loved her. Her father was a worrier of the elven queen Galadriel. Aldira's father's name was Haldir and he was the queen's most faithful servant. She loved him as if he was one of her children and she loved his daughter as if she were her daughter. Galadriel had a daughter (Celebrian), granddaughter (Arwen), and two grandsons of her own. Her daughter married the elven king of Rivendell (Lord Elrond). Her daughter died shortly after Arwen turned 1,000 years of age.
1,000 years later, Elrond and Haldir have become good friends. The two keep in contact and their daughters have grown up together. They have become as close as sisters. They both knew whom each one loved. Aldira loved the elven prince of Mirkwood, Legolas. She didn't know this, nor did anyone else, but he loved her as well. And Arwen loved a man named Aragorn. Aragorn was to be king once the steward was dead.
This day in age, there was a huge war in middle earth. Two men, an elf, a dwarf, and four hobbits were fighting for freedom of middle earth. Their names were:
Men- Aragorn and Boremier.
Hobbits- Frodo (the ring barer), Sam, Pipin, and Merry.
After the death of Gandalf the Gray, the fellowship (as they were called) was devastated. The fellowship had split up. The groups were Frodo and Sam, Legolas Gimili and Aragorn, and Merry and Pipin. They found the new white wizard, Gandalf the White. Then they set off for the city of Rohan. They were preparing for the battle of Helms Deep. They knew they wouldn't win with only the men and young men of Rohan and the Fellowship, so Gandalf set out to find the Riders of Rohan. The worriers of the Lothlorian woods blew their horn and everyone in Helms Deep heard it. They knew that it wasn't the horn of Mordor or Isengard so everyone went to see who it could be. They let them in and Aragorn welcomed Haldir with a hug and Legolas had a smile across his face. He knew that they had a better chance of winning the war with the elves on their side.
During the battle Haldir was stabbed on the stomach and slashed down the back with an axe. Aldira found out from Galadriel' s mirror. She insisted on going to get her father's body but Galadriel said that it wasn't a good idea. She was afraid that she would get killed. So late that night Aldira got some the best worriers and asked them if they would go with her but they told her that she shouldn't go and that the other elves that were left would bring him back. She didn't want that to happen. She wanted to be there @ his side.
Elves can't really die. The only thing that can kill them is if they are slain in battle and if they die of a broken heart. They have magical powers. Such as:
Galadriel- can read people's minds and talk to them inside their head.
Aldira- heels, fights, foresight, and can read people's minds.
Kelebreborn (Galadriel's husband)- unknown
This made the elves special compared to men. They were also a little bit taller and they also mainly had blonde hair. Some elves, like Arwen and Elrond, had brown hair. Elves had a gift with handling animals. Elves were pretty much perfect. Aragorn wasn't an elf but they raised him. He left his home as a prince of the capital of Gondor. Gondor was the most powerful city of men. Aragorn became a Tracker.
Chapter 2: Dreams
Aldira was very sad that Galadriel wouldn't let her go. But she went walking through the woods instead. As she was walking she saw her father walking beside her like before he went off to war. He would walk with her at the end of the day and they would talk about their days. Aldira would tell her father that she had found the biggest tree in all the wood and she would take him to the tree in which she thought to be a largest of all. She would show him the fattest trees she had ever seen. He would just nod in agreement.
Aldira started to cry as she thought more and more of her father. She sat down on a dead tree stump and stared out into nowhere. Everything faded away and she only saw her father. Haldir looked at her and smiled. Aldira smiled back and her eyes lit up. She started to cry. Then she said in a singing voice, " I'm so tired of being here, suppressed by all my childish fears. And if you have to leave I wish that you would just leave, because your presence still lingers here and it won't leave me alone. These wounds (her heart) won't seem to heal. This pain is just too real. There's just too much that time cannot erase."
And Haldir answered, "When you cried I'd wiped away all of your tears, when you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears, and I've held your hand through all of these years. But you still have all of me."
" You used to captivate me, by your resonating light. But now I'm bond by the life you left behind. Your face it haunts my once pleasant dreams. Your voice it chased all the sanity in me. These wounds (her heart) won't seem to heal. This pain is just too real. There's just to much that time cannot erase."
" When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears, when you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears, and I've held your hand through all of these years. But you still have all of me."
" I've tried so hard to tell my self that your gone. But though you're still with me, I've been alone all along."
" When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears, when you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears, and I've held your hand through all of these years. But you still have all of me..." and Haldir's voice drifted away as did his body.
" Adar," cried Aldira yelled as she shot up. She was lying on her bed in her room. Adar means father in Sindarian elvish. It was only a dream. She had walked back to her room while she was dreaming. Galadriel came into her room as if she had run there. Which she had.
" Did you reach your father," she ask Aldira.
" Yes I think so. I had a dream that I did," she answered.
Gandalf the white had visited Aldira shortly after he had returned to Middle Earth. He had given her a ring and he said that it was forged by the One (no one really knew who that was). The ring took ages to make and it was just as powerful as the One Ring. It was a ring of good. Gandalf chose Aldira because she was a young elf and he knew that she was strong. He also thought that she would for sure go to war. He life was now dependent on her ring. If the ring were destroyed she too would die slowly.
Aldira went back to sleep. She had another dream. She was walking around all of Middle Earth and a Nazgrul (a black rider) appeared in the sky riding his dragon. Aldira knew that it was the witch king. He was the most powerful of the other Nazgrul. Aldira was scared. All of a sudden the witch king appeared in front of her. He came up to her and he stabbed her in the stomach.
Galadriel heard it and ran into Aldira's room. She found Aldira on the floor. Aldira was on her knees holding her stomach. Her eyes were closed in pain. Galadriel moved her hands and she saw blood seeping from her stomach. Aldira collapsed. Galadriel caught her before she hit the floor. Galadriel tried to wake her but Aldira just opened her eyes again and they started to water.
Aldira saw the sword come out and the witch king went to stab her again when Galadriel came into her dream and stood in front of Aldira and she held her hands out to her sides and the light around her grew brighter. The Nazgrul put his hand in front of his arm in front of his face and screamed. Then he appeared on his dragon in the sky again. Galadriel brought them both back to Aldira's room. Aldira's eyes were running with tears. Galadriel telepathically called Elrond. He came and they tried to bring her back. Galadriel thought for a while.
Chapter 3: Saving Aldira
Legolas was standing out side of Rohan. It was right after the battle of Helms Deep. He all of a sudden saw Aldira standing beside him. He glanced at her and smiled. "What are you doing here," he asked.
"I am here to say good bye," replied Aldira.
"What do you mean? Am I going to die," asked Legolas.
"No you aren't going to die. I am dying. I was stabbed by the witch king in a dream. Galadriel and Elrond are trying to bring me back," she replied.
" Wait don't leave! Galariel? Is this true? Is she really dying," asked Legolas.
" She needs more help you can come in a dream of hers and use some of your powers to heel her. If all three of us to try to heel her. If there are three of us she will have a better chance of living."
Legolas did as he was told and they spent a few moments and they let her rest. The wound had closed and stopped bleeding. Aragorn came to Legolas and Pipin had taken the seeing ball from Gandalf. Aragorn and Legolas had talked for a while when Legolas felt the presence of the dark Lord. He and Aragorn ran into the room where everyone was sleeping and Aragorn tried to take the ball from Pipin because he saw that the dark Lord was attacking Pipin. Merry yelled help and Gandalf awoke and threw the cloth over the ball. In the morning he took Pipin to Gondor and Merry, Legolas, and Aragorn went with everyone in Rohan to the camp because Gondor had called for help. At the camp Lord Elrond visited Aragorn and he told Aragorn that he must get more help for the war. There were no more elves. They had all gone to the west.
Aragorn was told to go into the cave of the dead soldiers. Aldira had come with Elrond but no one had noticed. When Aragorn was going into the cave Legolas and Gimili were preparing to go with him. Aldira quietly came in behind them. She silenced Gimili with the power of her ring. He couldn't speak. She came behind Legolas on her horse. Gimili tried to worn Legolas but he couldn't speak. All her saw was a rider with a black cloak ride up behind his friend. She pulled out her sword and disguised her voice to sound like a Nazgrul. She was riding her father's horse Lembas. He wasn't the same color as the Nazgrul's horses. He was black with a brown under coat. Legolas saw her approach him and he drew his bow and shot at her. He didn't know what she was. She said, "Legolas you cannot kill me." As the arrow hit an invisible shield that surrounded her and the horse. He was frightened at first.
She took off her hood and Legolas looked at her in surprise and ran up to her and pulled her off her horse and hugged her. Her eyes started to water and all of a sudden tears just came running down her face. She was so excited to see him. Aragorn looked behind him and saw Legolas hugging someone. And he realized that it was Aldira.
"When did you get here," asked Legolas.
"I came with Elrond. We need to get going. Let's go. Hello Aragorn, Gimili!"
"I didn't expect you to heal so quickly."
"I am still in the process of healing. Elrond said that I would be fully healed by the time we have to go to fight. I feel wonderful though. Did you see my ring," she asked.
They all had a look and they were silent for the rest of the journey to the cave. When they got there the two Rohan horses had ran. Lembas had stayed.
"Why doesn't Lembas go with the others," asked Gimili.
"Because he doesn't fear anything. He has seen war and death and he has had a few encounters with death but I have healed him every time. He is not afraid," replied Aldira. Gimili just looked at Lembas in surprise. They entered and they came to the ghosts. Aragorn showed them that he was the next king of Gondor. They came in on enemy boats. The ghosts had killed all the men that were on the boats. The men were on their way to war. Aragorn, Legolas and Gimili had jumped off the boat onto land. There was a crowd of orcs.
"Enough for all of us," said Gimili. And they started running at the orcs. The orcs looked at them as if they had no chance then the ghosts appeared running (floating) besides them. The orcs looked as if they themselves had no chance. Then the battle went on and Legolas took down an Urlephant. Urlephants look like GIANT elephants with two sets of tusks and they have big baskets of men on their backs. Aldira took down another one. She also killed many orcs and Urukia. Aldira was in shock watching all the ghosts take the Urlephants down. They all just covered the animals and it went down. The Urlephant's legs were covered in arrows. This made it easy to climb up its legs.
When they had killed all of the orcs and Urukia that had already come to Gondor they decided to go to Mordor to fight the Urukia and orcs. They did this because they wouldn't expect it and it would help Frodo and Sam get to the heart of Mt. Doom without being seen by the eye of Sauran. They went and once they got there the orcs and Urukia surrounded them. All the men were frightened. After they had fought for a while they saw that the volcanic lava was spilling down the mountain they all huddled together again and the earth began to fall around them. All of the orcs and Urukia fell into the earth. All the men knew that Frodo and Sam had made it and they destroyed the ring. Gandalf had some friends that were Eagles and they came to fight the Nazgrul. For they had come also to fight. After all the Nazgrul and all the other evil things of Middle Earth were dead, Gandalf got on one of the Eagles and they flew to get Frodo and Sam. They picked them up and when Frodo woke up they were in Gondor. Merry, Pipin, and Frodo were all greeting each other. They had time to say hi to Sam but because Frodo was sleeping they were excited to final see him again. As was Frodo. Gimili came in then Aragorn then finally Legolas. Gandalf was there the whole time. Frodo saw him when he had woken up. He thought Gandalf was dead so he was delighted to see him again.
Chapter 4: Kings and Marriages
Aragorn was crowned king and Legolas had a surprise for him. Arwen had come back. They kissed and held each other. As they were walking back they say the hobbits. They bowed to Aragorn and Arwen. As they were bent over Aragorn said, "You don't bow to anyone." And everyone from the whole city of Gondor and those who cam from Rohan and the elves, all bowed to them. They all looked around in amazement and discombobulation. Legolas and Aldira got married a few days after. They had talked about it during the war. Aragorn and Arwen were so happy for them.
"She has been talking about you for ages, Legolas," said Arwen after the wedding.
"Oh, has she? And why didn't I know anything about this," asked Legolas.
" Yes she has. She has told me how she has felt about you. She has just been to scared to tell you how she feels because she was afraid that you wouldn't like her," said Aragorn. Legolas looked at him in surprise.
" I thought you were my friend, Aragorn. Why didn't you tell me this," Legolas said with a smile. "We have a lot to talk about tonight don't we Aldira?"
" I guess so. No I didn't tell any else but the ones that I knew I could trust and the I knew were close to you," she replied. "What counts is that now we are married and we both know that we love each other. Now the only thing left to do is to tell each other how much we love each other and to have many little elf princes. Hopefully they turn out just like you! Well now that I actually think about it not exactly like you." Aldira smiled and Legolas smiled back. Aragorn was laughing as well as Gimili. Arwen just smiled. The hobbits were so drunk that they started to laugh so hard that they couldn't breath. Gandalf started to laugh at them and so did everyone else.
Chapter 5: Saying Good Bye!
When it was time for, what was left of the elves, to get on the boat that goes to the west, The hobbits walked Bilbo. He had no idea that they had destroyed the ring. He really wanted to hold it one last time. All the other hobbits didn't know that Frodo would be going with the elves but he said good bye and they all started to cry except Frodo. Gandalf, Lord Elrond, Galadriel, and Kelebreborn were leaving as well. Everyone said their good byes. Legolas and Aldira had gone there three days after their wedding. Arwen was sad to see her father, Galadriel, Kelebreborn, Legolas, Frodo, Gandalf, and Aldira have to go. So was Aragorn. Gimili also went. He went with Legolas. And they were happy forever and after. Arwen did die eventually because she was alone for almost 5 more ages (ages are about a thousand years long). She did have a son. Legolas and Aldira had 3 children. Their names were Haldir (after Aldira's father), Leorial, and Adra.
