The world's Lament for Undomiel - a poem

She walked the Earth for many an age
She laughed and sang to the stars,
but she chose mortality - Men's cage,
a bitter-sweet cage, with golden bars.

The light in her eyes is gone,
the one she loved has passed away,
but she is doomed to live on and on
until grief and age claim her one day.

All alone she walkes the silent wood,
weeping at times for days that have passed
her fair face hidden by a hood,
her beauty timeless, seeking rest.

And so at the dawning of spring
she'll lay to rest beneath a tree
but this spring no birds will sing,
For, the Evenstar forsook the Sea.
