the road to darkness
For in this land, unlike to ours
Hope is ever felt to fall,
And pain is felt by one and all.
No rain is there, no dew wet grass,
And terror seizes all who pass
The place where Nazgul dwell,
For such is this, this ashen hell.
And soon the darkness of this land
Could be sweapt by mighty hand
To fill the earth that is so green,
And nightmates are all to be seen.
And so the silence stops all hearts,
And we all are but parts
Of the good and evil will,
'Twill never cease, for good or ill.
