Battle at Helm's Deep - A thought of a soldier in the battle

It's been so long since i saw all the older members posting comment, and tolkien online seems to be missing something i once saw.

Volleys of arrows pierced the sky.
For more than arrows soon will fly.
Thousands of orcs might be hard to beat.
But hope in our heart still exist.

My wife and children I deserted so.
For this war is duty, i have to go.
I often thought of why must we war.
As only death will be the result of this all.

As dawn made it's pallid entrance to daylight.
We charge out of our refreuge with all our might.
For the worst is over in the night.
And this battle is victory when once-banish riders join our fight.
