A poem of days gone by - A lovers sorrow

We walk beneath the Moonlit sky
But that's a memory of days gone by
The days when we walked hand in hand
when I told you my secrets and you understand
We sat at foot of the old oak tree
We carved our initals inside a heart, plain to see
I said I'd love you forever
You were amazing, athletic, good looking and clever
Then you said your last good bye
All that day I did cry
Farewell my love
Sent from above
We walk beneath the Moonlit sky
But that's a memory of days gone by
