I wrote this from the point of view from my dear friend, David, that died in January Now he's calling out from heaven
This actually might make more sense once I publish the story that goes with it.
The Last Elf in Middle Earth Sings a Mournful Song
This is meant to be a song of Haleth, daughter of Haldad, when she, with what is left of her people, makes the last stand against orcs in a desperate fight, seeing no hope after her father and twin brother have been slain and standing face-to-face with a cruel death. I hope it captures at least some vision of "a woman of great heart and strength" (as she was described by J.R.R.Tolkien in the Silmarillion, p. 169)
Frodo sings to Elanor...one last time........
Too many poems I write And yet more I write inspite Addicted I am, To Frodo and Sam, So my writing I don't even fight.
Parts of this poem are similiar to Aragorn and Arwen's love and some are kind of like Eowyn's love for him but it's not really about them.
I actually was in English class when I wrote this and I truly was BORED!
Excuse me while I explore my dark side a bit......
