Caption Contest 49!!! - Frodo meets a winged Nazgul!
Here is an image that has sparked much message board discussion on Tolkien Online! Frodo "offering" the Nazgul the ring! Or is he offering it? What is he offering? Can the Nazgul see Frodo? Or the ring? Or did he just stop to ask directions? (must not be a male nazgul, then).
Think of a humourous caption for this image, and post it in the comments section of this page. You can click on the thumbnail to see a larger image, but do not post your caption on the page with the larger image. Come back to THIS page before posting your caption (thus far, NO mispost comments last week, folks! Amazing! Let's see if we can all post in the right place this week! If not, I'll send a nazgul to deal with you!).
Remember, TolkienOnline is a "family friendly" site, so please keep all comments "clean". As always, the only prize is the satisfaction of a job well done!
Last week's winner will was (appropriately) Wormtongue with "Wormtongue: 'Why do I always forget my knife?" '. To see last week's contest, and past contests, click the caption contest link atop this page.
Oh my. This week we had many very good entries! I'm only posting the winner and two runners up, but I encourage you all to read more of the comments!
This week's winner was BuccaoftheMarsh with: "Frodo knew not the penalty for public urination until it was too late."
Runners up were "Pardon me, but do you have any Grey Poupon?" and "Welcome to McDonald's drive-thru. May I take your order?"
