Caption Contest 46!!! - A Ranger always finds his way!
Faramir, a Ranger of Ithilien! Surely after years of trekking the wilderness, he can find his way around without a map!?
Think of a humorous caption for this image, and post it on the comments section of THIS page. You can click the thumbnail to see a larger image, but PLEASE return to this page before posting your caption (last week we had a number of captions posted on the wrong page).
Remember, Tolkien Online is a "family friendly" site, so keep all captions "clean".
Last week's winner was Ainarie with "We SAID: 'O! tra-la-la-lally, here down in the valley!'" To see this and other past caption contests, click on the "Caption Contest" link atop this page.
As always, the only prize is the "satisfaction of a job well done" :-)
This week's winner was "faramiriscool" with:
'Damrod :"I agree, Captain, I think ham and pineapple looks the best option. Shall I order twenty?" '
A close first runner up was Todd Martinez with:
"My Lord Faramir, I am sure it was here. For 50 years Minas Morgul has been on this map, and now it's gone, just gone. It must be a contivance of the Enemy."
Other runners up included:
"Captain...your life will not be forfeit if we stop and ask for directions."
"Surley the fire regs say something about all of these candles... "
"On second thought, let us not go to Osgiliath. 'Tis a silly place."
"Faramir: *rolls dice* Nope, looks like Bilbo dies. Perhaps you try the quest with Frodo instead. "
