"Eowyn, I'm no good at being noble. But it doesn't take much to see that the problems of three little people don't amount to a hill of beans in this crazy world..."

From the Topps trading card, titled "Making Friends with Gimli, comes this week's caption contest image.

However, the title seems to be incorrect-- what actually ARE they saying? Are they making friends? Is something else going on? And what is Theoden thinking?

Think of a humorous caption for this image, and post it-- where? LET'S ALL SAY IT TOGETHER-- On the comments section of THIS and only THIS page.:)

That's right-- you can click on the thumbnail to see a larger image, but be sure to COME BACK TO THIS PAGE before posting the caption!

Captions work better if short, and have a better chance of being picked (although we've had a few good longer ones).

Remember, Tolkien online is a "family friendly" site so keep all captions "clean" and family friendly.

As always, the only prize is the satisfaction of a job well done! Last week's satisfaction went to Legolas_Fancier with "The Gangs of Middle Earth." To see this and other past caption contests, located in the "humor" section of the reading room, click the "caption contest" link at the top of this page.

This week's winner is Devling, with "Eowyn, I'm no good at being noble. But it doesn't take much to see that the problems of three little people don't amount to a hill of beans in this crazy world..."
