We, the undersigned, are staunchly against filming The Hobbit without Peter Jackson directing it. It would be a travesty to make the film without the man whose bold vision brought Middle-earth to us in the recent The Lord of the Rings trilogy. We have seen Peter Jackson's vision of Middle-earth, and now it is indeed time to allow another director to put his vision of Middle-earth on the big screen.
